Century Clubs are those clubs that donate more than $1,000 at the Parade of Love that occurs at each I-I District KNRF Luncheon held the Saturday of the I-I District Kiwanis Convention. The figure below shows the Century Clubs from the District Convention held on August 2nd, 2025 at Davenport, IA. Century Clubs form the backbone of the financial support from the I-I District Kiwanis Clubs – each club in the I-I District should strive to donate $1,000 or more at the Parade of Love.
At the June 18th Mega meeting in Davenport, Ken Whitmore summarized the history of the I-I District Kiwanis Neuroscience Research Foundation (KNRF) and the resulting accomplishments. He,also, .described the associated special KNRF awards.
The guest speaker was Dr. Daniel Tramel who has received KNRF support for over 40 years. His current research is focused on developing a remote neurophysiological assessment for improving the understanding and management of Alzheimer’s and dementia diseases.
The last guest speaker was Jimmy Moreland, the subject of an assessment. He explained that he volunteered after many episodes of forgetfulness and how he completed the assessment questionnaire. ... See MoreSee Less
