12.12.24 joined several clubs from Div 16&17 for a holiday luncheon in Davenport, Iowa known as their Tom & Jerry holiday event. (Sorry. It wasn’t the cat and mouse cartoon I grew up with😆) but I sampled my first “Tom & Jerry” and it was good with peppermint bark added. (Not the one in the photo) Besides the delicious food and wonderful people, the local high school choir “awed” us with a wonderful performance of holiday songs that would put the Grinch and Scrooge into the holiday spirit!!🎄Thank you for your hospitality!! (Photo credit-Exec Director Angie Johnson Burford) Then made my way back to Anyway’s in Bloomingdale to enjoy a holiday dinner with the Kiwanis Club of Glendale Heights.
