5.15.25 Spent the morning with this wonderful group people of the St Charles Golden-K Kiwanis Club. Active, songful and so welcoming! They insisted I be in a photo🥰. First Governor to visit them since charter in 2002 🙏🏼 When I turn “Golden-K age” I am joining their club!! Thank you, Josie, for the “ask” 😉💙 See you in August!Image attachment

5.10.25 National Assoc Letter Carrier NALC Stamp Out Hunger event with my home club, Kiwanis Club of Aurora. Annually, this event takes place on the second Saturday in May where letter carriers collect donated food items from communities to support their local food pantry(s). Aurora’s Interfaith food and Marie Wilkinson food pantries were on site packing up the donated goods. Our club assisted. As governor for our I-I district with assistance of Dave Mies, Community service chair, the plea went out district wide to get involved for a “district wide service event”. For some clubs, it wasnt their first rodeo, but for others , a new experience. Thank you to the NALC reps for allowing Kiwanis to assist and for your hospitality!! I am still waiting to hear what the grand total weight of items collected was🤷🏻‍♀️ A TON for sure😉🙏🏼 💙
